I have always been infatuated with nature and her abundance of amazing and diverse creations. For me, watercolor is the perfect medium for capturing the nuances of color and texture, pattern and colors in the birds and animals that I love to paint. I welcome the challenge of faithfully depicting a particular animal in a way that is true to what it looks like, but has a little humor or whimsy mixed in for good measure.
